Welcome to our web site and take a look around. It's only new and more content will be coming shortly.

Armidale is situated on the New England Highway mid way between Brisbane and Sydney and our repeaters can be accessed on the New England Highway from Guyra to Uralla.

We have reinstated our 2 metre repeater. Having completed that, our next project was a second repeater on 70cm. The 70cm repeater was already installed at the site and we installed the antenna on the tower on April 5th 2014.

Echo Link is now operational on the 70cm repeater (-7Mhz). VK2RAD-R or Node 872907.

The momentum is already rolling so we will soon move into our club premises to set up our club station and hold regular meetings and social functions. Our move to club premises will be in February 2014

So now you know our short term goals, if you wish to donate equipment, man power or technical expertise, please contact us.

Our club had its origins in October 24th 1922 Here's an interesting article  https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/192028806

We’ve hit the newspapers locally…….. read all about it here….
